Established in 2022, The Bowfishing Shop has a commitment to always provide you with great bowfishing products, top notch customer service, and fast shipping. We do our best to be selective in the products that we offer to ensure you are absolutely satisfied with the product(s) you receive. PASSION
Bowfishing has been a passion of mine since I first laid eyes on it when a good friend of mine brought over a bowfishing DVD back in 2007. I must have watched the DVD over a dozen times. From there I stripped my hunting bow and slapped on an AMS Retriever and hit the water. Every since that day, I have been 100% dedicated and focused on bowfishing. I enjoy shooting in tournaments, helping out with fantastic outdoor groups like Fallen Outdoors, and getting new folks out on the water.
I started this business out of passion for this sport and I’m thrilled about how much more time I get to spend chatting with folks about the sport, making arrows, playing with new equipment, and selling products.
PRESERVATION
Preservation of this sport is more important now than ever as this sport has exploded in popularity in recent years. With this increase there are new sets of eyes seeing this sport for the first time. We need to ensure that we are doing our part in keeping professional conduct on the water, policing each other when needed, and leaving the ramp in a better condition than when we arrived. Keep informed on any potential legislation in your state, there have been occurrences of legislation getting green lighted due to lack of opposition, often due to lack of visibility. Join a local club or association to assist in preserving this great sport!
YOUTH
I can’t stress enough how important it is to increase and keep youth participation. The youth are our future of this great sport and getting them out and on the water is the best way to preserve the sport. Teach them proper fish disposal and professional conduct out on the water. There are many bowfishing clubs that offer youth day shoots that are dedicated to getting youth out on the water regardless of lack of equipment or experience. The Bowfishing Shop is proud to participate in a local youth event here on the East Coast which has seen substantial grow each year!
