Newly established in early 22′, The Bowfishing Shop was created to feed my passion for bowfishing along with long term plans to support the great sport of bowfishing and its awesome community. We want to preserve this great sport and ensure that our next generation will be able to experience this great sport. We strive to eventually become one of the best one-stop shop for bowfishing. We are just getting started, more to come! No fish dumping!
Meet The Owner
The Man Behind It All
I had my first bowfishing experience back in 2004 with a high school buddy of mine. We had setup our old 60lb hunting bows with a drum reel, fishing line and a cheap muzzy arrow. We didn’t have much of a clue about what we were doing or how to do it, but we gave it a shot. We launched into a small creek off a main road in my buddy’s 10ft jon boat with cheap trolling motor and a paddle. The water was very murky, we would sometimes get a glimpse of a carp fin breaching the surface. We eventually got close enough to one and it took off with my buddy sending a hail marry after it. He connected his shot with that carp and from there we were absolutely hooked. I was fortunate enough to launch this online shop and I look forward to see where it goes. I appreciate all of the help and support that I’ve received already. I have big plans for this new adventure, and I hope to see them pan out. One of the ideas is listed in the next section below.

Bowfishing Games Series
As a kid, I remember playing hunting and fishing games when hunting season was out or during bad weather days. I can remember playing the very first Deer Hunter game on our computer back in 1995. It felt great being able to satisfy my craving for going out to hunt. Of course this never fulfilled the entire craving but served more like a temporary fix. Flash forward to todays games and you have very realistic games that make you feel as if you are there in person. When it comes to bowfishing, there aren’t any games out there that are modern and fun. Having a background in game development, I have put together a game concept for an exciting and realistic bowfishing game that I would like to bring to life. I will be using some of the proceeds from this shop to begin funding the game. This will be a massive development project and will take a substantial amount of funding and time to bring it to a reality.
