Terms of Service

Last updated October 22, 2026

These terms apply to your use of bowfishing.shop and to anything you buy from The Bowfishing Shop ("we", "us"). By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Orders and pricing

  • Prices are in U.S. dollars. We work to keep prices, descriptions, photos and stock status accurate, but mistakes happen. If we find an error in the price or availability of something you ordered, we may cancel the order, and we will refund anything you have paid for it.
  • An order is accepted when we confirm it by email. We may decline or cancel an order, for example because of a pricing error, a stock problem, a payment problem or suspected fraud. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, we will refund it.
  • Product photos are for reference. Colors and finishes can look different on different screens.
  • Coupon codes and promotions are subject to the conditions shown with the offer, and we can end an offer at any time.

Payment

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By placing an order you confirm that you are allowed to use the payment method you enter. We never see or store your full card number.

Shipping, tax and returns

Shipping and sales tax are described in our Shipping Policy, and returns in our Return Policy. Both are part of these terms.

Gift certificates

Gift certificates are delivered by email with a code that is entered at checkout and applied to your order. Keep the code safe: anyone who has it can use it.

Using the products safely and legally

Bowfishing equipment includes sharp points and projectiles, and bows store energy that can cause serious injury. You are responsible for using what you buy safely, following the manufacturer's instructions, and learning and following the laws and regulations that apply where you fish, including licensing, legal species, seasons and equipment rules. Rules differ by state and water body, and we don't give legal advice. Some products may not be legal to own or use everywhere, and it is your responsibility to check before you order.

Product descriptions and other information on the site are general information, not a substitute for the manufacturer's instructions or for proper training.

Your account

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity under your account. Give us accurate information, and let us know right away if you think someone has used your account without permission. We may suspend or close accounts that are used for fraud or abuse.

Charter directory

The charter directory lists guides and charter operators who have asked to be included. We are not affiliated with the charters listed, we don't operate or supervise their trips, and we don't guarantee their licensing, services or safety. Any booking is between you and the charter. Guides who apply confirm that the information they submit is accurate and that they hold any licenses required to operate, and we may edit or remove a listing at any time.

Acceptable use

Please don't misuse the site: no attempts to break or overload it, to get around its security, to scrape it in bulk, to place fraudulent orders, or to submit false or unlawful content through our forms.

Intellectual property

The content on this site, including text, photos, graphics and logos, belongs to The Bowfishing Shop or the brands and manufacturers whose products we sell, and is protected by law. You may not copy or reuse it for commercial purposes without permission. Brand names mentioned on the site belong to their owners, and their use does not imply endorsement.

Warranties and liability

Manufacturers' warranties, where they exist, are provided by the manufacturer. To the fullest extent the law allows, the site and products are provided "as is", and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any injury or loss that results from the use or misuse of the products we sell. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law that can't be limited by agreement.

Privacy

How we handle your personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on this page, with the date at the top, is the one that applies, and orders are covered by the terms in effect when they were placed.
